Elevated Water Storage Tank and Well

Wiley|Wilson provided design and construction phase assistance for a 300,000 gallon elevated water storage tank and well system. The goal of this project was to provide additional water storage and fire flow protection in an underserved portion of the Town’s water distribution system. Our team worked with the Town of Tappahannock to create a hydraulic model and evaluate the most appropriate location for the new elevated water storage tank and well.

Wiley|Wilson and Quinn Consulting Services teamed to ensure that the tank coating preparation and application were completed correctly. It is our experience that the most critical element in successfully completing a tank design and construction project for a painted steel structure is high quality inspection services during the construction phase. QCS Inc.’s participation was crucial for this project to provide on-site construction phase inspection.
