Connie Burnette Named 2017 Plan Administrator of the Year

, PHR, SHRM-CP, Vice President and Department Manager, Human Resources, was recently named 2017 Plan Administrator of the Year by AFS 401(k) Retirement Services, LLC. AFS administers Wiley|Wilson’s 401(k)SOP Retirement Plan. (Watch Connie receive the award here.)

Thanks to Connie’s efforts (and AFS’s guidance), employee-owners are participating in the company’s retirement plan and are doing so at a rate that puts them on track for financial security once they retire. The company’s participation rate outperforms the industry average: 96% of all employee-owners participate compared to the industry average of 72%.

According to Daniel, AFS has held more than 150 one-on-one sessions with employee-owners over the past five years. Today, the average Wiley|Wilson employee-owner has a 99% Retirement Readiness score, meaning they are on track to replace almost their entire income amount in retirement.
