Steve joined Wiley|Wilson in 2000, in the Lynchburg electrical engineering department. He has prior electric utility experience, with particular expertise in the planning, design, and analysis of medium voltage power distribution systems. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded its presence in the power systems engineering market sector and recently completed the design and construction of our first microgrid. He and his group specialize in the design of resilient and highly reliable power systems with sophisticated protection and automation schemes that ensure safe operations and diminished arc flash hazard. A licensed professional engineer in five states and the District of Columbia, Steve is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the International District Energy Association (IDEA).
