Bill has more than 40 years of experience specializing in structural engineering. He has performed designs and evaluations for hundreds of structures, including offices, industrial plants, dormitories, medical and educational facilities, hotels, power generation facilities, and museums. His experience in other structure types includes highway and railway bridges, dams, towers, tunnels, and other underground structures. He has also provided inspections, structural analysis, renovations, force protection, construction management, and forensic consulting for numerous projects. Bill has been invited to speak at engineering conferences nationwide. He is a registered engineer in five states and has been active or held office in many professional and technical organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Virginia Society of Professional Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Joint ASCE/ACI Committee on Concrete Bridge Design, and the Virginia Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
