Jessica Molnar Named National ESOP Employee of the Year

Jessica Molnar is the 2021 National ESOP Association’s Employee of the Year! The award was announced at this year’s The ESOP Association (TEA) National Conference in DC. Jessica was commended for her contributions to growing and fostering the Company’s ownership culture over the past year.

Jessica was instrumental in producing the Company’s first (and hopefully only!) all-virtual Ownerfest, planning and recording videos for the event. She also organized an online Scavenger Hunt for employee-owners, to increase everyone’s knowledge about, and appreciation for, the Company’s ESOP.

“We are so proud of Jessica and what receiving this award means to her and the Company; she is very deserving of this high honor,” said Fred Armstrong, Wiley|Wilson Chairman and CEO. “Her can-do attitude is evident in every task and responsibility she undertakes. She is always eager to help coworkers and promotes our ESOP to her fellow employee-owners. Jessica’s engaged, positive attitude is an excellent example of the ownership model for others to follow.”

Jessica joined the company’s ESOP Ownership Committee in 2020 — just a few months into her first year at the company, and right before the pandemic changed how our workforce operated. Jessica leaned into the all-virtual challenge. She suggested events and activities to keep the workforce engaged and involved in our ownership culture. At the end of 2020, Jessica was elected Vice Chair of the Committee.

“Since her first day on the Committee, Jessica has embraced all-things ownership and has demonstrated a willingness to jump right in and do what it takes to grow our culture,” said Adam MacPherson, who serves as the Committee’s Chair. “Jessica demonstrates an ownership spirit that both new hires and experienced professionals can emulate and celebrate.”
