Wiley|Wilson Continues Design Work at Fort Lee
Monday, January 11, 2010Wiley|Wilson, acting as the prime A-E for the design-build team with W.M. Jordan Company, has been awarded a new 76,926 SF facility at Fort Lee, Virginia. The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Collocated Training Facilities will provide training facilities for the Towed Artillery USMC Detachment. It will be located in the Central Campus of the Ordnance Training Facilities. The building will include spaces such as administrative; general instruction; repair instruction; vehicle maintenance instruction; audio-aided instruction; and oil, petroleum, and organizational storage. The building will be divided such that these functions will occur within a two-story administrative/instructional volume, high-bay training space, and a single story volume space.
The completed facility will meet the requirements for LEED silver rating.
