CAER Groundbreaking Event

The groundbreaking event for the new Center for Advanced Engineering & Research (CAER) facility took place on November 6, 2009 in the Region 2000 of Virginia.  Wiley|Wilson, architect and engineer for the project, participated in the event represented by Project Manager Tim Groover, P.E.; Assistant Project Manager Dennis Knight, Jr., P.E.; and Project Architect Randy Vaughan, AIA, LEED AP.

The CAER project consists of the design of a new 30,000 SF research and educational center and will be designed to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards for New Construction certification. Wiley|Wilson provided multi-discipline design services including structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and construction administration.
