Wiley|Wilson Helps Math and Science Teachers Understand Engineering
Wednesday, August 12, 2009On August 12, 2009, employees of Wiley|Wilson provided support to the Richmond area Math Science Innovation Center’s summer program for middle school teachers. Tim Groover, President and COO, gave a presentation to the teachers on the profession of structural engineering. Later the same day, John Epperson, Vice President and Project Manager, and Norm Downey, Vice President and Senior Structural Engineer, gave the teachers a tour of the LEED Silver Air Force/Navy Dormitory project currently under construction at Fort Lee.
Representatives from Wiley|Wilson’s design-build partner W. M. Jordan, including Mark Reilly, Project Manager, and John Maleta, Project Superintendent, also participated in the tour of the facility.
