Spotsylvania County Saw Hill and American Central Elevated Water Storage Tanks - Spotsylvania County, Virginia
The project includes the design of a one million gallon elevated water
storage tank for the Saw Hill area of Spotsylvania County and a 200,000 gallon
elevated water storage tank for the American Central area of the County. The
tanks will provide additional storage for the countywide water system. In
addition the tanks will provide dependable fire protection, stable water
pressure and balanced storage for the Five Mile Fork Pressure Zone. The design
included a WaterCad hydraulic analysis of the countywide water system to confirm
storage requirements, tank locations and turnover in the tanks and water system
to ensure the system maintains the desired water quality.
