Preserving a historic landmark in Harrisonburg while converting the structure into the City's new visitor center. The 1849 Hardesty-Higgins House will contain a transportation heritage museum, orientation theater, gift shop, community room, and administrative offices. Exterior features include a pedestrian way to Harrisonburg's Historic District, landscaped garden, streetscape improvements, and trolley stop.
