Route 501, Georgia Pacific Entrance Improvements - Bedford County, Virginia
Improvements including widening and addition of turn lanes for Route 501 to
improve access to Georgia Pacific. Involved replacement of a bridge over Reed
Creek with a skewed, 3-span continuous rolled steel beam structure adjacent to
CSX tracks. Staged construction of the skewed bridge and reconstructed, widened
roadway.
