The Wiley|Wilson team was contracted to provide renovation construction commissioning services for this aging barrack that was being renovated into an office building to provide support services for Navy personnel. Many challenges arose during the commissioning effort due to the constant air system that was designed to combat the humid conditions that existed near the bay. These challenges were overcome by detailed analysis of the trend logs and a “room by room” sequencing of the building automation system (BAS). Not only did this level of attention result in a successfully commissioned building but also greatly assisted in lowering energy costs.
