Transmission Main and Waterline Operations and Design - Various Locations

Wiley|Wilson’s water system team provides long-term strategic support to numerous water systems in the Mid-Atlantic region. From initial route planning and easement coordination, through detailed design and construction assistance we enable cost effective project execution through proactive scheduling, strategic bidding, and close contractor coordination. From urban renewal with trenchless technology, to restoration of existing line capacity with maintenance pigging and corrosion studies, our team-integrated approach ensures maximum utilization of existing assets and development of sustainable replacement and expansion projects. Recent accolades include honorary project recognition by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) for our work replacing the 70-inch penstock for the Pinnacles Hydroelectric Facility. This project included many intriguing challenges associated with heavy construction of nearly a mile of pipeline in mountainous terrain in Southwest Virginia, including replacement of several pipe bridges and aboveground pipeline construction using heli-lift techniques.
