WWTP
Wiley|Wilson was the design engineer for the Culpeper County Green’s Corner WWTP. The facility is a green-field 0.1 MGD membrane bio-reactor advanced wastewater treatment plant that was commissioned August 2008. The project was completed on a fast-track basis so that the facility was in operation to provide service for the opening of the New Culpeper County High School. To meet the schedule, Wiley|Wilson worked with the Owner and Virginia DEQ to expedite permitting and to procure a fully factory-tested and functional package membrane bioreactor system as owner furnished equipment using a request for proposal process. The treatment system met all permit requirements and achieved total nitrogen < 3.5 mg/l and TP < 0.3 mg/l within the first month of operation.
