The 10,000 SF communications center includes administrative and support staff office spaces, dispatch area, equipment spaces, meeting/training rooms, conference room(s), break room, kitchen area, restrooms, storage spaces, and locker area. The exterior appearance is sympathetic with the surrounding buildings and design fabric. The high performance design utilizes APCO (Association of Public Communications Officials), NENA (National Emergency Number Association), CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) best practices and standards for 911 centers.
