George Mason University Solar Study - Fairfax, Virginia
Wiley|Wilson performed a high-level survey of buildings at all three of George Mason University’s campuses to identify buildings with excellent potential for solar technology. Evaluation criteria included orientation of the building, building usage and load characteristics, roof type, roof pitch, potential shading, and perhaps other projects planned for the building.
From the high-level survey, Wiley|Wilson identified 10 candidate buildings showing the most promise for utilization of solar technology. For each of these buildings, we suggested the technology best suited based on usage and load and provided a summary report for University review.
