Consolidation of the Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind - Staunton, Virginia

Wiley|Wilson provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services under Ballou Justice Upton's contract with the Virginia Dept. of General Services for design services for the Consolidation of the Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind in Staunton, Virginia. The work includes design of a 50,000 SF education building, two new 20,000 SF dormitories, and partial or full renovation of multiple existing facilities, some of which are historic structures. Renovations include new ADA compliant restrooms, new HVAC, new lighting and new fire protection and fire alarm/mass notification systems.
