CAER Project Wins ACEC Honor Award

Wiley|Wilson received an Honor Award in the statewide 2012 Engineering Excellence Awards competition sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia. The award will be presented at ACEC Virginia’s Engineering Excellence Awards Gala in Richmond at the Jefferson Hotel in February 2012.

Wiley|Wilson received the award for the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER) facility in Bedford County, Virginia. Wiley|Wilson served as the architect/engineer for the 36,000 SF building which provides a facility where local companies, research universities, federal laboratories, and other regional partners can work collaboratively on research and development projects.  Current occupants are focusing on nuclear engineering technology and wireless communication.
