This 70,000 SF facility was designed for AREVA, NP to further their industry leadership in pump and motor repair, refurbishment and replacement. The building design included a hot machine shop; 30,000 SF Radiologically Controlled Area (RCA); and 15-, 25-, and 75-ton crane capabilities with 60 foot hook height. Also included were high-bay training areas, classroom and office spaces, UV filtration system for pit water, Chemical Biological Radiological (CBR) accommodating HEPA HVAC systems, H-4 high hazard occupancy design, boiler and chiller plant, fire protection and alarm systems, and telecommunication and LAN systems.
